Visible Markings A few, very light scars around the knuckles and arms from various sporting accidents.
Appearance Sei is consistantly tanned from one thing or the other. Having lived in Schubert his whole life his skin has just naturally taken to the amounts of sunshine that filter in the mountain air, and though thin merely due to genetics, he's a hearty kid and can withstand great physical activity at sea level. His hair is often attempted to be tended to but forgotten, and he does wear glasses; thick, black frames, square.

He takes his glasses off for most pictures because he's self-conscious about them, and will not wear even contacts during activities for fear of harming his eyes.

History
Sei lives with his mother, Akiko, and that's that. He'd rather you not know anymore.

Raised to be a typical member of Schubert society he's not in touch with his culture outside of his language and the constant swarm of Second Heaven kids, and has lived in one of the smaller homes just eeking it by for years.

Well, except recently. When he became old enough Sei picked up several odd jobs in town, and began helping his mother with expenses. Since then her situation has improved greatly - as he gets free tuition from his mother working on campus, Sei manages to give most of his money away.

An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Sei really, really wants one, but finds that in his current situation affording one is unfeesible.

Unfortunately, the melodrama of his life remains just that - a distant, hidden set of jobs, working his ass off in school, and finding himself often too tired to do anything but crawl in bed at night. So it is for Matsuura Sei.

Personality

In-Depth Sei doesn't want to seem cold, but he is, and the fact that he's come to accept this means sometimes he really tries to hide this portion of himself and sometimes he's just too tired to care. Around those he thinks are his friends he might seem even chillier than usual - to him it's a degree of comfort. If he's the type who will fall in himself, if they are his friends they might accept it. He doesn't mean to be this self-centered, he then chastises himself, and becomes even more distant. With this pattern Sei has a hard time keeping acquaintances, and otherwise expressing himself.

In his home where silence reigned over any problem Sei learned very quickly not to expect much of anything in regards to comfort. If he stubbed his toe he was chastised for crying as a child, and soon the lack of expression became an inner tug-of-war. He began to draw to escape that, and now has elaborate storyboards laying all over his side of the living room and his notebooks and even the art room walls. Whether he truly pursues this sort of thing or not is another story; Sei is determined but only determined in what he feels he ought to do.

Which in this current point doesn't include very many people, or girls, or boys, or anything of the sort. Fact is, he's so busy trying to be busy that he's not even sure of his sexuality, let alone his place in the world.
